RAM Issues Fixed!

RAM Issues Fixed!

So I Figured Out What Went Wrong!

Get this, besides the bad stick of RAM, there was something else wrong.

So in my irritation to figure out why my new used computer was giving me the BSOD every time I loaded up something I reset the bios of the motherboard. After running multiple tests for hours days at a time I never got a BSOD.

Very long story short, and a full month later, I figured out what caused the BSOD. The Asus motherboard I have was using the AI overclocking feature to remove the Intel instituted voltage limits! The PL1 (95w) and PL2 (210w) were both set to 4096w! No wonder it would BSOD every time I tried to run anything. I have since turned off this ‘feature’ and absolutely zero issues since!
